What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony starts at 4PM so please be there a little bit before the start.
How long will the celebration last?
The ceremony is at the venue and will last around 30 to 45 min. The celebration itself we are counting until 3/4AM (or later). Time to let loose your inner party animal!
Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?
If the weather permits, both the ceremony and reception will be outside followed by dancing indoors. We recommend bringing a jacket in case the night gets chilly. We will provide some blankets and, if needed, we will also have heaters. In case it rains, there will be a tent set up so you don't have to be in the rain but please be aware that the ceremony will be always outside rain or shine as we love the location so much.
What’s the dress code?
Cocktail to Semi-formal. Please be aware that the venue is on the countryside and some of the floor is gravel and grass, so no stiletto heels ladies!
Can I bring a plus-one?
We would love to accommodate everyone but there is limit seating and we are keeping plus ones limited. You will receive on the invite your plus ones details.
Are kids welcome?
Yes, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate for your little ones. There will be lawn games and lots of green space so they can run around. Please be aware there is a pool at the venue, so it's important to keep an eye if they don't know how to swim yet.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there is parking right inside the venue and it's guarded.
Will there be transportation available for guests?
Yes, from the center of Sesimbra which is the best place to get accommodation in the area. We will have a little shuttle to take guests after party starting at midnight. Please let us know in advance if you need transportation so we can book it for you.
How do I get to the venue?
The best way is by car or taxi/uber.
Are there hotels/accommodations nearby?
Yes! You can find more details on the travel page and check if we have discounts as we talked with some places to reduce the price for guests. There are some local houses in Azeitão (which is 5 min away from the venue) but the majority of the hotels are in Sesimbra (20 min away by car). Sesimbra is also by the ocean so you can enjoy a stroll on the beach and some delicious seafood.
What should I do if I have allergies/dietary restrictions?
You can inform us when you respond to the invitation and will make sure that there will be an alternative option for you.
Is it an open bar or cash bar?
Open bar and lots of food so come hungry!
Do you have a gift registry?
Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and we truly consider it the greatest gift of all—especially for those traveling from far away. We are not asking for gifts, but if you feel inclined, a contribution toward our honeymoon in Japan would be greatly appreciated as we plan our first big adventure as a married couple. Thank you for celebrating with us; your love and support are more than enough!
Can we bring gifts to the wedding?
Although we know we will love any gift you might want to give us, please bear in mind that we are traveling also ourselves and have to fit all in suitcases.
Will I be able to see the photos?
Yes, after the wedding we'll post the photos here as well as the contact of the photographer in case you want a photo printed.
Do I need a visa to travel to Portugal?
No, but you might need an electronic authorization if you are from outside the european union (ETIAS). You can find more info here: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en
